Allow me to start off by wishing all of you a most MERRY CHRISTMAS!  My prayer that you will continue to celebrate our Savior even past December 25th.  As I write this week, I am deeply disturbed by all the negative rhetoric being tossed about, since the presidential election ended.  I wrote recently about widespread panic and fear. Now, the subject of hope for the future is being questioned.  So, I am prompted to challenge all who read our blog to seriously examine the source of your hope.  I ask, very emphatically, where is your hope???  Is it in man, or in you?  Is it in your earthly possessions, your job or your status in this world?  I could go on, but you get the picture.

Let me say for the record, my hope, my faith and my future is securely rooted in the Lord!  I have no other option, but to trust Him totally with ALL of me.  For it was God who brought me this far and as the song goes, “He brought me too far to leave me.”  Nothing that man does; nothing that is said can change this for me.  However, my concern is the rest of the body of Christ.  I am watching many believers and their leaders, who are suggesting that all is lost with the election of Donald Trump.  There
